Tus Maith Hike - Sunday 16th February

Boyle Scouts hosted the Annual Lough Keel Scout County Tus Maith Hike on Sunday last, 16th February. A great turnout of over 350 people including Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Ventures, Rovers, Leaders and family members from Boyle, Ballinamore, Carrick, Longford, Mohill and Lanesboro/Ballyleague participated in the scenic 8.5 km hike route starting from the Scout Den, climbing up the curlew mountains via the old mail coach road and returning via Deerpark to the Scout Den where a monster BBQ and refreshments awaited.
Much praise must go to the Boyle Leaders involved in the organising and running of a successful event and ensuring all participants enjoyed the hike and got around the route safely.
