Boyle Scouts - Registration Night

Registration Night for all New and Existing members will be held on Wednesday 21st September between 7.00 pm and 9.00 pm in the Scout Den.

All Parents who wish to enrol a child for the coming year, must please register them on this night.

The minimum age is strictly 6 years old.

Please note that while we are accepting registration of New Members, places will be dependent both on returning member numbers and Leader numbers and therefore cannot be immediately guaranteed. Weekly meetings will resume the following week, beginning Monday 26th September. Anyone who may be interested in becoming a Leader in any of the Sections would be most welcome and can contact the Group Leader on 086 8360222 or any Leader for further details.

Boyle Scouts would also like to thank everyone whom gave so generously to our recent Church Gate Collection.

Your continued support is, as always, very much appreciated.

Boyle Scouts - New Group Badge

Our New Group Badge has arrived!!

Earlier this year we ran a design competition asking our Youth Members to come up with ideas and designs for a Group Badge which would reflect our Boyle location and historically, our 2 Troops - 1st Roscommon and 11th Roscommon. The response was excellent with some great ideas and concepts put forward by all Sections.
We wish to thank everyone that took part in our design competition and would like to congratulate Sophie Quinn (Scout Section) on her winning design. We would also like to thank Enda Moran (Scout Section Leader) for his vital assistance with the graphics for the final Badge.

The Badge design is based on the Gaelic Chieftan which is now synonymous with Boyle and the N4 Curlew bypass. The design around the badge is a Celtic 3 plait border circle. The blue and red are the colours of our 1st Roscommon Neckerchief while the maroon and yellow are the colours of our 11th Roscommon Neckerchief.
